Media Invited to 'TIA 2012: Inside the Network' -- the Leading ICT Event Addressing the Future of Broadband Networks
Annual Conference and Exhibition Will be Held in Dallas, June 5-7, Featuring AT&T CEO Stephenson and Verizon CTO Melone

WASHINGTON, Mar 12, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech global communications networks, today invited media to attend TIA 2012: Inside the Network--the international event exploring critical aspects of the global communications network. Taking place June 5-7 in Dallas, Texas, the TIA Conference and Exhibition will address the future of The Network by uniting the people, products and companies that propel and enable the global communications experience.

"Smart phones and tablets, cloud services and digital video are placing unprecedented demands on the broadband network," said TIA President Grant Seiffert. "TIA's latest market study found that global Internet traffic will quadruple by 2015, and in the next five years, mobile broadband usage will be 35 times what it is now. Recognizing that the network is the backbone of all modern communication and business, TIA 2012 will go 'inside The Network' and address the critical issues facing the information and communications technology (ICT) industry."

TIA 2012: Inside the Network is the must-attend event for anyone involved in the ICT industry. The conference will address a range of emerging trends and challenges in the network--including spectrum issues, cloud optimization, green ICT, M2M and many more. It will feature keynote presentations from AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson, Verizon CTO Tony Melone, Centurylink EVP Dennis Huber, and dozens of other industry heavyweights. TIA 2012: Inside the Network will bring together hundreds of leaders and innovators in a new era of network architecture to discuss the changing dynamics and economics of broadband.
